Annie

Hi, my name is Annie Wathen. My biggest interest in life has always been skiing and snowboarding. I grew up in a family that tried to spend as many days as possible skiing every winter. We always used to go to the same place in Sweden called Bjorkliden. Many of my friends would do almost anything to ski almost every day during the winter, so after we finished school we decided to do a winter season. I and three of my friends did our first winter in Saalbach, 04/05, and it was the best thing I ever done, so the following winter I did my second season but this time on my own. To make some money I worked wherever I was needed, in hotels and ski schools. I did yet another season, but this time in Verbier working as a breakfast girl in a Hotel, even though I’d said to myself when I did my first season that it’s only going to be one and after that I would settle down and get a proper job back home in Sweden. But it was harder then what I ever would have thought; Skiing is and will always be one of the biggest things in my life. Finally Penhab came into my life and I’m now living the life I always wanted.
